Course Description: Introduction to Philosophy
This elective course will be centered on three vital philosophical works – Socrates' dialog with Gorgias, Machiavelli’s The Prince, and Marx and Engel’s Communist Manifesto – and will examine the important ideas that are the foundations of western civics and culture.
