Course Description: Ceramics

Learn a variety of techniques for exploring and manipulating clay. Identify and make use of sources and methods for inspiration. Formulate the ability to respond to aesthetic experiences. Learn about the history and application of ceramic arts and use what you learn as inspiration for your own artwork. Become aware of critical issues and questions related to ceramics and other art forms. Create ceramic works that will become a permanent part of the school campus. Learn methods of critical analysis through classroom critiques.
