Course Description: Applied Music Fundamentals/Vocal

Applied Music Fundamentals/Vocal is designed to teach students the basic elements of music theory, literacy and aural perception focusing on voice training with an emphasis on ear training, basic solfege/theory, self-accompaniment, and applied theory. This will include individual and choral performance.. Through the continuous development and application of vocal and listening skills, students will acquire the knowledge and experience that will set the stage for advanced musical study.

Open to all levels of experience. May be repeated. No prerequisites.
