Course Description: Non-native English

This course is designed to support students for whom English is not a native language.  Enrollment in this course is determined by admissions criteria and by placement evaluations once students arrive on campus.  Students whose proficiency has improved sufficiently by the end of the first semester have the option to exit the course, though many students remain enrolled in this course for the entirety of their first year at Dunn.
 
The curriculum of the course varies by students' needs, but generally focuses on supporting the content and skills being developed in history and English classes.
