Course Description: Studio Art 2
Studio Art 2 is a portfolio preparation class, designed to provide breadth, a range of subjects and techniques that provide the framework for developing individual ideas and approaches in a drawing portfolio or a 2-D design portfolio. Students will be encouraged to develop a personal style, and will evaluate their work more critically. This class focuses on the elements of art, the principles of design, and self expression with hands on projects of various media and technique each of which is reinforced with related vocabulary, personal responses and self evaluations to prepare students for AP Studio Art.
